Xterra Tahoe & Maui
Quick blog with some nice photos.

Xterra Worlds Maui, 1st 50-54. There were guys from Japan, Germany, Italy, Brazil, New Zealand, etc. in my group. I didn't think I was doing well, but won easily - best swim split, best bike split, 2nd best run split (one of the German's was second). 62nd, amatuer, 21st US amatuer (~500 including ~80 pros). My 1st win in Maui (I've been 2nd), and I won a rainbow striped jeresy (yeah baby!).

Xterra Nationals, Tahoe. 1st in 50-54. Had a bad swim, a decent bike and just suffered on the run. Expect to be beat by Ian from South Carolina, Scott from Florida, Kevin from Colorado, etc. But I persevered! 2nd win at Nationals since 03. Yes!
Nice shot of me swimming (brr):

And running (ugh):

Here's me suffering on my new SyCip on an easy part of the course (the bike makes me look fat). I was one of very few on hardtails
